We seek a RESEARCH SCIENTIST with a background in computational, theoretical or cognitive neuroscience, or a related field to join the Department of Neuroengineering. The candidate must hold or be about to obtain a doctoral degree (PhD), and some post-doctoral experience is a plus!

A bioprogressive mind-set is essential, with enthusiasm for technological approaches that include brain-computer interfaces and neuroprostheses.

Of particular interest are candidates with expertise/experience in any of the following areas: physiology of cognitive deficits/decline, brain-computer / neural interfaces, neural prosthetics, artificial intelligence (decision making, pattern recognition).

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic team, generating and accomplishing research projects. Strong communication skills and organizational ability are required. Scientists at the department participate in the promotion and advancement of neuroengineering through scientific publication and presentation.

We seek a SCIENTIST or (biomedical) ENGINEER to join the Department of Neuroengineering. The candidate must either (a) hold or be about to obtain a doctoral degree (PhD) or (b) hold a graduate engineering degree with relevant work experience.

A bioprogressive mind-set is essential, with enthusiasm for technological approaches that include brain-computer interfaces and neuroprostheses.

Of particular interest are candidates with expertise/experience in any of the following areas: medical data acquisition (e.g. MER, EEG, MEG, (f)MRI, PET), data analysis, knowledge system engineering, artificial intelligence (e.g. decision making, pattern recognition), database design, interface design, product testing, brain-computer / neural interfaces, neural prosthetics, portable devices.
